Gasgoo Munich-Toyota Boshoku (China) and Huaqin Technology officially signed a joint venture agreement on April 21 to establish a new company focused on the R&D and sales of smart cockpit control products and software, Gasgoo reported. The move signals a cross-industry integration between a traditional interiors giant and a smart electronics manufacturer, accelerating the development of next-generation mobility spaces.

Under the agreement, the new entity will combine Toyota Boshoku's deep engineering expertise in seats and interior systems with Huaqin's strengths in intelligent electronic control and software platforms. The initiative is designed to meet growing demand in China for high-end, personalized, and intelligent mobility experiences.
