Toyota to raise June domestic production plan by 4%

Toyota Motor Corp. told parts suppliers that it may produce 13,000 vehicles a day in June at its domestic factories, an increase of 4 percent from an earlier plan, the Nikkan Jidosha newspaper said.

In July, the company may increase its daily domestic output to 14,000 vehicles, the newspaper reported, without saying where it obtained the information.
