Gasgoo Munich- Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car signed a definitive agreement on September 10 regarding the commercial operations of the Lynk & Co brand in Europe, according to Gasgoo. Under the deal, Volvo Car will become the exclusive distributor for Lynk & Co in Europe starting January 2027, taking over local commercial and brand operations. The companies aim to drive Lynk & Co's scaled growth in the region through deep collaboration.

Geely noted that as its global business shifts to a higher-quality phase, the company is advancing regional strategic synergy. This collaboration will enable Lynk & Co to deploy a more scalable retail model in Europe while preserving its "trendy, sporty, and individualistic" brand identity—solidifying its status as a premium global new-energy brand. Volvo's established commercial infrastructure in Europe, particularly its retail and after-sales networks, will support Lynk & Co in boosting market influence and customer reach, accelerating its expansion on the continent. Geely views this as evidence of its ability to empower brands in high-potential markets—a key step in its globalization strategy.
The agreement specifies that the partnership does not involve changes to equity structures. Geely Auto Group will retain responsibility for core functions, including global product design, R&D, regulatory certification, and overall brand strategy for Lynk & Co. Lynk & Co will remain within Geely's global ecosystem, leveraging its global product lineup to complement Volvo and address the diverse mobility needs of global users.
