Gasgoo Munich-On July 24 that XPENG founder He Xiaopeng took to Weibo to announce that deliveries of the MONA M03 Ultra SE will begin next week. The timeline has been pulled forward from August to late July — nearly a month ahead of schedule.
"Since the launch in April, our inbox has been flooded with messages from XPENG owners eager for delivery," He said. "Over the past few months, our entire project team and supply chain partners have been working around the clock on production, testing, and validation. We’ve managed to get these cars into your hands early without compromising on safety or quality."

As the top-of-the-line variant of the 2026 MONA M03, the Ultra SE debuted on April 2 alongside XPENG’s first event following its rebrand to "XPENG Group." It features two in-house Turing AI chips delivering 1500 TOPS of effective computing power and runs a fully enabled second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) large model for the physical world. He emphasized that this marks the industry’s first move to bring 1500 TOPS of computing power to the 150,000 RMB price segment.
On the intelligent driving front, the Ultra SE supports full-scenario advanced features, including city and highway NOA, door-to-door autonomy, and automated parking. During the launch event, He noted that this level of computing power "surpasses many models on the market equipped with intelligent driver assistance — including several flagship vehicles priced around 500,000 RMB."
According to Yang Guang, head of the MONA product line, the Ultra SE was the result of a "rapid product adjustment." The project team initially believed the Max version would suffice, but internal testing revealed the second-generation VLA’s impressive capabilities in complex scenarios like navigating narrow alleys. That prompted the decision to add the SE variant.
XPENG has not yet disclosed the scale of the initial deliveries or specific handover schedules for each city. Industry insiders suggest that first owners should receive their vehicles shortly after the official start. Moreover, the accelerated delivery timeline will help the MONA line work through its existing order backlog.
