
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai December 20) - Zhengzhou Nissan has exported 8,300 vehicles to foreign markets so far this year, the Beijing Times reported today. The figure, which represents year-on-year growth of 29 percent for the joint venture, signifies that the joint venture has already met this year's export goal. Zhengzhou Nissan aims to export 10,000 vehicles in 2013 and 28,000 in 2016.
Zhengzhou Nissan currently possesses sales and aftermarket service networks in over 20 different countries and regions worldwide. The Succe commercial minivan (pictured) is among the 13 Zhengzhou Nissan vehicles which are sold overseas. The JV's vehicles, several of which carry the Dongfeng logo overseas, have already been certified by the EU and the Gulf Cooperation Council for sale in their respective regions. According to development plans, over the next two years Zhengzhou Nissan will become a key R&D and export center for Nissan commercial vehicles.
