Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 17, FAW Group’s premium auto brand Hongqi officially put the HS3 compact SUV model onto the market. Coming with four trim levels, the HS3 features a price range of 145,800 yuan to 195,800 yuan.

Positioned as a compact SUV, the HS3 adopts Hongqi's latest family design language. With dimensions of 4,655mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,668mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,770mm, the HS3 presents a well-proportioned exterior.

Inside, the HS3 features a classic T-shaped cockpit design, complemented by a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 12.6-inch central control touchscreen. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel adopts a flat-bottom design, while the seats showcase an integrated design.
In terms of intelligence, the HS3 offers various configurations, including 360-degree panoramic camera, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control (ACC), and lane-keeping assist, among others, depending on the specific trim level.
Powering the HS3 are two engine options, a 1.5T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) and a 2.0T engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT). The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power output of 124 kW and a peak torque of 258 N·m, while the 2.0T engine generates a maximum power output of 185 kW and a peak torque of 380 N·m. Additionally, Hongqi plans to introduce a hybrid electric version in the future.
