Ethernovia specializes in Ethernet-based network solutions anchored by packet processors. The company delivers high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity for autonomous vehicles, robots, and other intelligent machines.
The startup is developing a new class of high-performance automotive-grade and edge packet processors designed to serve as the data backbone for next-generation "Physical AI" systems. Built to handle massive streams of real-time sensor and AI data, these processors enable systems to adopt a unified Ethernet architecture—transmitting, processing, and coordinating data at the edge with deterministic precision.
Ramin Shirani, co-founder and CEO, noted that current in-vehicle and industrial networks are ill-equipped for Physical AI workloads. Ethernovia’s packet processor platform breaks through this limitation, leveraging a scalable Ethernet architecture to reduce system complexity and vehicle costs—paving the way for the mass deployment of autonomous driving technology.
At the heart of the Ethernovia platform lies a suite of industry-first packet processors. Engineered to aggregate, route, and intelligently manage high-bandwidth sensor, vision, and AI data streams, these chips deliver deterministic latency and industry-leading energy efficiency. They provide the real-time data foundation required for autonomous driving, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), robotic perception and control, and emerging AI-defined functions—all while cutting system complexity, weight, and overall cost.
Designed from the ground up for edge computing and Physical AI workloads, Ethernovia’s packet processors support programmable data paths and a scalable Ethernet architecture across vehicles, robots, and mobile systems. This flexibility allows OEMs and system developers to deploy software-defined platforms while ensuring safety
Ethernovia plans to use the proceeds to accelerate the R&D and mass production of its next-generation packet processors, expand its software and system capabilities, and deepen customer partnerships across the automotive, robotics, and industrial sectors.
