Gasgoo Munich-Xiaoyubot has officially closed a new funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence. Investors include Blooming Star, Singapore’s Kamet Capital, and the Guoke Yingfeng Fund.
This marks the startup’s third funding round of 2026. In February, Xiaoyubot secured a Series B round worth hundreds of millions, led by Huaye Tiancheng. Then in May, it closed a Series B+ round of similar size, jointly backed by BAIC Industrial Investment, Fosun Ruizheng, and C&D Emerging.
With this latest round, Xiaoyubot has assembled a diverse roster of strategic investors. These span construction steel structures, shipbuilding, automotive manufacturing, and consumer electronics. This effectively builds an industrial ecosystem across multiple heavy sectors.

Founded in February 2023, Xiaoyubot aims to build a "general brain" capable of powering diverse robot forms — from welding and grinding to precision assembly and inspection. The company’s roadmap relies on industrial deployment to eventually achieve general embodied intelligence.
On the technology front, the company has established three core pillars: the Xiaoyu Runwu World Model, the Xiaoyu Xirang Hardware Platform, and a proprietary positioning pen. It has already replicated its solutions across multiple sectors, ranging from construction steel structures to shipbuilding and heavy machinery.
At the Global Digital Economy Conference, Xiaoyubot unveiled the "Xiaoyu Future Robot" — the industry’s first industrial embodied intelligent welding robot. The standard version of the smart welding workstation starts at 169,800 yuan.
The workstation integrates three main components. These include robotic parts like a UR arm, Mech-Mind camera, Nvidia chip, and positioning pen. It also features welding gear such as the torch, power source, water tank, and wire feeder. Finally, it includes a ground rail system. It comes pre-loaded with over 200 standardized process parameter packages, covering most routine requirements in sectors like construction steel, shipbuilding, and power towers.
The Xiaoyu Future Robot has already been deployed in more than a dozen top-tier factories across industries including construction, shipbuilding, power towers, bridges, and construction machinery.
