VMR Robotics' 500th Humanoid Robot Dedicated Chassis Officially Rolls Off Production Line

Edited by Aya From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- On August 11, VMR Robotics officially rolled out its 500th dedicated humanoid robot chassis at its Huzhou production base.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanxin Robotics, VMR Robotics leverages its parent company's deep expertise in 3D vision and mobile robotics. The company focuses on developing dedicated chassis for humanoid robots and industrial mobile robots, delivering safe, stable, and reliable smart mobility solutions to clients worldwide.

VMR Robotics has established a full product matrix spanning the H6, H6 Mini, and H3 series, covering applications from lightweight research to 200kg industrial heavy loads. The company has forged deep development partnerships with dozens of top-tier industry players, with a backlog of humanoid chassis orders now exceeding 1,000 units.

VMR Robotics's humanoid chassis utilizes four-steering-wheel omnidirectional motion control technology. It has been natively re-engineered to align with the specific operational characteristics of humanoid robots:

Omnidirectional Movement: Supports forward and reverse motion, lateral translation, S-shape weaving, curved trajectories, and curvature rotation. Free from traditional turning radius constraints, the chassis can navigate narrow production lines and elevator lobbies with ease;

Precision and Stability: With ±10mm positioning accuracy and ±1° angle control, motion commands execute precisely on the first attempt. The system also features an optimized anti-toppling algorithm designed to handle shifts in the center of gravity during dual-arm operations;

Perception and Endurance: 360° proprietary 3D visual obstacle avoidance provides high-precision environmental semantic data for embodied models. Additionally, a dual-battery system allows for one-minute hot swapping, ensuring continuous operation;

As market demand intensifies, VMR Robotics—backed by parent company Lanxin Robot—has established two major production bases in Huzhou and Gui'an. Spanning a total of approximately 23,000 square meters, these facilities boast an annual capacity of 15,000 units. The entire production line adheres to ISO9001 three-tier quality control standards, guaranteeing consistency and reliability in bulk deliveries.
