Unitree IPO priced at 150.80 yuan per share, valuing the company at nearly 61 billion yuan
On the evening of August 6, Unitree Technology released its STAR Market listing announcement, setting the issue price at 150.80 yuan per share. This implies a post-listing valuation of roughly 60.99 billion yuan.
As the first humanoid robotics stock on China’s A-share market, Unitree’s pricing sets a clear valuation benchmark for the embodied intelligence sector within domestic capital markets.

The announcement reveals Unitree will issue 40.4464 million new shares, representing 10% of the post-issue total capital. At the issue price, the offering is expected to raise 6.099 billion yuan—nearly 1.9 billion yuan above the original target of 4.202 billion yuan. Subscription for both online and offline investors is set for August 10, with a single lot of 500 shares requiring payment of 75,400 yuan.
Meanwhile, strategic placement results show nine investors participated, securing a total of 8.09 million shares—or 20% of the offering. Notable institutional backers include DeepSeek, Tencent’s Qishan Investment, PetroChina Kunlun Capital, CSG Industrial Finance Holding, and China Telecom Capital.

Agibot reshuffles core management
On August 3, Agibot updated its website to reveal a revamped management structure, disclosing nine partners and three independent non-executive directors for the first time.
The move comes just weeks after Agibot announced plans for a Hong Kong listing in late July. As the first major management shake-up since that process began, the changes are drawing close industry scrutiny.
Compared to the previous lineup, three new partners have been added—Xiong Yan, Zhu Jie, and Zhang Xiuzheng—while former partner and Chief Scientist Luo Jianlan has stepped down from the partnership.
Alongside the structural changes, roles have been elevated: Jiang Qingsong and Yao Maoqing have both been promoted to co-founder and co-president, joining the board as executive directors. Jiang will oversee operations, while Yao takes the helm of the core embodied intelligence business line.
The new partners bring specific expertise: Xiong Yan, as co-president, will manage central R&D and interaction systems; Zhang Xiuzheng will lead marketing and services to drive commercialization; and Zhu Jie will oversee public affairs and branding. Notably, Xiong and Zhang are both Huawei veterans, deepening Agibot’s Huawei DNA, while Zhu plugs gaps in government relations and brand building.

AI²Robotics reportedly eyes Hong Kong IPO as early as next year
Citing people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reports that AI²Robotics is considering a Hong Kong IPO and has teamed up with advisors to prepare for the listing, with a potential launch as early as 2027.

Founded in April 2023, AI²Robotics focuses on productivity-oriented general-purpose robots. Since inception, it has pursued an end-to-end large model paradigm, developing the proprietary Alpha Brain embodied intelligence model and designing its AlphaBot series around it.
The AlphaBot series has already seen scaled deployment across various sectors. Last year, AI²Robotics secured a landmark deal with HKC for 1,000 units over three years. This year, it expanded further with repeat orders from multiple customers in the semiconductor display industry.
In new retail, its modular service space, the "Smart Magic Cube," launched in late 2025, is already in routine operation in cities like Beijing and Shenzhen. The company plans to deploy 1,000 units over the next three years, carving out a new growth curve beyond industrial applications.
At the recent WAIC 2026, AI²Robotics unveiled the upgraded AlphaBot 2, featuring the world’s first proprietary neuromorphic large model, NeuroVLA, which brings robots closer to biological intelligence. On-site, the company demonstrated an automated PCB loading and unloading solution for industrial manufacturing.

Magic Atom breaks ground on 10,000-unit production line
Recently, Magic Atom broke ground on its new headquarters in Wuxi’s Liangxi Technology City. The facility will focus on R&D and production of embodied robots and core upstream components, with plans for four joint module production lines and two final assembly lines.
Once fully operational, the plant is designed to produce 10,000 robots annually—9,000 small quadrupeds and 1,000 large quadrupeds—creating a complete value chain from R&D and manufacturing to scenario application.
At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Magic Atom unveiled three new products: the flagship full-size humanoid MagicBot X1, the industrial wheeled humanoid MagicBot D1, and the light-industry quadruped MagicDog T1. The company also reported that its proprietary Magic-VLA K02 model achieved over 90% success rates in complex industrial tasks like box stacking and sealing, backing its claims with real-world data rather than showroom demos.
Currently, its industrial wheeled humanoid is operating in Dreame’s smart factory, handling routine tasks like material transport and assembly line loading. Meanwhile, its traffic management robot, "Xiaomai," was tested in real-world conditions during the Wuxi Marathon, managing traffic flow and crowd control.

Luming Robot co-CTO Ding Yan confirms departure
Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence has learned that Ding Yan, co-CTO of Luming Robot, has officially left the company. His social media profiles have been updated to list him as a researcher at Fudan University’s Zuquan Institute, confirming the career pivot.

That means Ding Yan’s tenure at Luming lasted fewer than 280 days, from his joining in November 2025 to his departure.
As a pioneer of the UMI (Unconstrained Imitation Learning) approach in China, Ding Yan holds significant sway in embodied intelligence data. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the State University of New York and conducted frontier research on robot perception and control at Ford and Meta.
Upon returning to China in 2024, Ding served as a young researcher at the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and later as co-founder and CTO of Yixing Robot. After Yixing dissolved in late 2025 due to investor pullbacks, Ding led a team of over a dozen core engineers to Luming, where he built the UMI data collection system and embodied model training stack.
The Zuquan Institute, Ding’s new home, serves as Fudan University’s core platform for technology transfer, focusing on basic research and commercialization in frontier fields like neuromorphic and embodied intelligence.

Ant Lingbo seeks to raise 1.5 billion yuan
Ant Group’s embodied intelligence arm, Ant Lingbo, has officially launched its first independent funding round, targeting 1.5 billion yuan. A second round is planned for late 2026.
If this timeline holds, it would set a new record for fundraising speed among domestic embodied intelligence startups.
Established in December 2024 and wholly owned by Ant Group, Ant Lingbo positions itself as a foundational model company "building brains for robots." Adhering to an "embodied native" approach, it has constructed a full-stack model system covering visual perception, spatial understanding, task decision-making, and action generation.
In late January, the company released its LingBot 1.0 series, covering full-stack technology from spatial intelligence and dexterous manipulation to environmental interaction. Building on that, it launched the next-generation spatial perception model, LingBot-Depth 2.0, in early July, completing a closed-loop "brain" capability spanning spatial intelligence, environmental feedback, and manipulation.
Ant Lingbo has already deployed pilots in retail and logistics. Notably, its smart pharmacy solution, developed in partnership with National Pharmacy, was named one of the "Top 10 Treasures" at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference.

Parsini secures another 1 billion yuan in strategic funding
Parsini Sensing Technology has recently secured another 1 billion yuan in strategic funding, bringing its total raised capital to 3.5 billion yuan.

This marks the second major capital injection in five months, following a 1 billion yuan Series B round in March. The investor roster includes industrial giants, state-backed funds, and top financial institutions, signaling broad confidence in both Parsini’s technology and commercial viability.
Founded in 2021, Parsini has leveraged deep expertise in tactile sensing to build a "sensor-dexterous hand-humanoid robot" product matrix. It has also developed a full-stack embodied intelligence system spanning hardware packaging, data collection, algorithm integration, and its OmniVTLA model.
Official data shows Parsini’s self-developed tactile chip usage approached 1 million units over the past year, demonstrating strong demand. Additionally, its massive multimodal datasets have been adopted by leading embodied intelligence model companies and major internet giants.

Dobot unveils "all-terrain" embodied humanoid robot
On August 5, Dobot Technology unveiled its first "all-terrain" embodied humanoid robot, the DOBOT LUMO.
Powered by Dobot’s proprietary Kongyi embodied large model, the DOBOT LUMO achieves three breakthroughs: multimodal emotional perception, 3D spatial understanding with proactive action, and autonomous learning with long-term evolution.
In a live-action video released by the company, the 1.3-meter-tall DOBOT LUMO moves with a natural, fluid gait. It handles complex outdoor terrain—lawns, sand, and gravel—with ease, transitioning seamlessly between home, office, and outdoor environments.
Dobot defines "all-terrain" across four dimensions: spatial (adapting to homes, campuses, malls); role (shifting from life companion to sports partner or science tutor); capability (integrating vision, voice, and movement to upgrade from passive response to proactive service); and lifecycle (evolving alongside the user to become smarter over time).
