August, 2023 auto sales ranking of SUVs from Japan's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Honda CR-V amounted to 17,475 units, up 16 % year on year, the first on August, 2023 auto sales ranking of SUVs from Japan's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Toyota RAV4 amounted to 15,411 units, down 5 % year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 93,702 units. August sales of the Harrier reached 11,598 units, increasing 13 % year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 99,057 units. (Note: Sales data here includes that of locally-made cars, SUVs and MPVs.)
