May, 2014 sales ranking of compact SUVs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Tiguan amounted to 19,778 units, up 30 % year on year, the first on May, 2014 sales ranking of compact SUVs, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Honda CR-V amounted to 14,396 units, down 1 % year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 78,826 units. May sales of the Toyota RAV4 reached 13,522 units, increasing 92 % year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 53,461 units. (Note: Sales data here includes that of locally-made cars, SUVs and MPVs.)
