BMW Brilliance has new president, CEO today

Shanghai, June 1 (Gasgoo.com) BMW AG and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Co., Ltd. have jointly appointed Mr. Olaf Kastner as President and CEO of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.

The appointment took effect as of June 1, 2009, sina.com said yesterday, citing the joint venture's announcement.

The announcement said that Mr. Alfred Rupp, the sitting President and CEO of BMW Brilliance, would be transferred to the Regensburg plant of BMW AG for another position.

Mr. Olaf Kastner has worked with BMW Group for eleven years, including serving as top financial executive in Germany and BMW UK.
