75% potential customers incline to self-brand

The survey recently released by Horizon Research consultancy Group showed that 75.65% of respondents paid more attention to self-branded in recent 2 years and 75.7% of respondents would consider self-branded cars if they had intention of owning a car in near future. The attitude of customers to vehicle brands changed greatly. Several years ago, only foreign automobile brands existed in customers' mind.

The survey found that the appearance is crucial for self-branded vehicles. More than 40% respondents thought self-branded vehicles improved greatly in appearance and the most urgent improvements should be made in quality, technologies and safety equipments.
