Luxury vehicle sales surged in the first five months

Luxury vehicles have secured the lion's share of auto market starting this year. Statistics show that Lexus has reached sales of 830 units in the first five months of 2007, representing nearly 20% of the total market sales, followed by Benz and BMW, with 685 and 584 units sold respectively. Hyundai and Kia sold 215 and 192 units of low-end luxury models respectively, trailing behind in the fourth and fifth place on the top 5 best-sellers' list.
