Jiangling Yusheng invests RMB 10b to launch 7-seat SUV and other three new models

Shanghai April 18^th, 2017 Gasgoo-As Jiangling’s passenger vehicle model, Yusheng has compact SUV S330 and middle-size SUV S350 on sale currently. Fan Xin, President of Jiangling Motors, said that, “We will invest more than RMB 10b to cover the whole Yusheng brand’s production line and increase from 2 models to 6 models in the future five years, including alternative energy vehicles.” It’s learned that the newly added models including S330 PHEV models and new 7-seat SUV.

Jiangling Yusheng brand has a total sales volume of 37,346 units, increasing 90.05% year-to-year. Although Yusheng brand has a relatively short production line, it still gets double sales growth in the hot SUV market.

Jiangling Yusheng brand has total sales of 17,837 units with year-to-year growth of 446% in Q1, 2017, reaching 47% of total 2016 sales target. Its sales volume reaches 4,861 units in March, increasing 276% year-to-year.

Jiangling Yusheng will launch four new models in the future, including the new 7-seat SUV and S330 PHEV model. Besides, Yusheng brand will also launch the first 7-seat MPV, with technologies provided by Jiangling Ford and made on the new flexible platform.
