According to the agreement, the companies will collaborate on developing and adapting solutions based on Horizon’s Journey chips for Neolix’s vehicles. This partnership is a result of the developing integration tendency among China’s intelligent driving field. The collaboration provides self-driving vehicles with solid support on the innovating “multi-scenario, multi-channel, whole data, whole chain” operation model in the mobile retail field.
Neolix promotes an immediate implementation network that provides citizens with great convenience in the mobile retail field. Both parties share the same acknowledgment that intelligent machine makes human life safer and more accessible. With Horizon's auto-grade intelligent chips, the Neolix unmanned vehicles will be given powerful image perceptual ability. Neolix's driverless cars will realize large-scale commercialization at a higher speed, said Yu Kai, the founder, and CEO of Horizon Robotics.
Neolix's unmanned vehicles are currently in use in thirty major cities and nine countries globally. The company deployed nearly 1,000 vehicles in hundreds of office parks, CBDs, and campuses, safely traveled over 1.3 million kilometers, delivering over 1 million orders to more than 300,000 customers.
Both Neolix and Horizon have recently formed strategic partnerships with China's LiDAR supplier, Hesai Technology.
