Great Wall Motor inks memo for KD assembly in Kazakhstan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Great Wall Motor inked a KD assembly (knocked-down) cooperation intention memorandum with the company’s partner in Kazakhstan, Astana Motors, marking a milestone in the Chinese automaker’s deployment in the local market.

The memorandum laid a solid foundation for a deeper cooperation between the two sides is also another important breakthrough for Great Wall Motor to steadily advance its globalization strategy. Through KD assembly, Great Wall Motor will further enhance its competitiveness in the Kazakhstani market. It will also bring affordable cars to local consumers and stimulate the potential of the local auto market.

In April 2021, Great Wall Motor’s HAVAL brand officially disembarked in Kazakhstan, introducing to the local market the HAVAL F7 lineup, the HAVAL JOLION, and other models with its intelligent configuration and quality. In September this year, the 3/4 scale HAVAL DARGO (Big Dog) hit the Kazakhstani market and delivered to local users. Furthermore, in the fourth quarter of 2022, the popular HAVAL H6 will also be launched in Kazakhstan.
