Dongfeng Aeolus sees 8% YoY increase in Mar. 2023 sales
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Monday, Chinese legacy automaker Dongfeng Motor released the monthly sales records of its three wholly-owned brands in March 2023, all of which showed positive results.

Specifically, Aeolus (Fengshen), the home-grown passenger vehicle brand of the group, realized a monthly sales volume of 11,435 vehicles in the past month, indicating an 8% year-on-year hike. Compared to the previous month, Dongfeng Aeolus' March sales shot up 108%.
The group’s high-end new energy vehicle brand, VOYAH, delivered 3,027 vehicles in March, which more than doubled from both the year-ago and month-ago periods, at a 116% and 173% rate each.
Built on the brand’s proprietary ESSA premium intelligent electric architecture, VOYAH successfully launched one product per year. Its first sedan model, the Zhuiguang, will officially hit the market this month, further consolidating the brand’s product portfolio, which range from SUV, MPV, and sedan.
Finally, Dongfeng Motor’s commercial vehicle arm, Dongfeng Trucks, saw its cumulative sales volume amount to 28,843 vehicles in the first quarter of this year, which was higher than that of the market average, said the automaker.
In the first three month of 2023, Dongfeng Trucks moved 2,688 vehicles in overseas markets, reflecting a year-on-year spike of 176%.
