JAC Group exports over 100,000 vehicles in Jan.-Jul. 2023
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In the seventh month of this year, Chinese automaker JAC Group saw a double-digit rise in monthly sales compared to a year ago, according to the company’s report released on Tuesday.

In July, JAC Group sold 50,572 vehicles, representing a 6.55% increase from June and a 15.55% jump from the previous year. Among the vehicles sold in the past month, 31,908 units were passenger vehicles, climbing up 8.54% from the earlier month while surging 23.46% year over year. Battery-electric vehicles accounted for 62.94% of JAC’s overall passenger vehicle sales in July, which came in at 20,082 units.
In the first seven months of this year, JAC Group’s cumulative auto sales stood at 329,377 vehicles, indicating an 18.07% increase from a year ago. Year-to-date sales of battery-electric passenger cars amounted to 86,939 units in the same period, dropping 10.65% year on year.
In July, JAC Group shipped 11,006 vehicles to overseas markets, representing a 32.25% spike compared to that of the year-ago period. In the Jan.-Jul. period, the automaker’s cumulative exports reached 100,182 units, soaring 75.58% from that of the previous year.
