AITO M9 gains regulatory approval by China’s MIIT

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 12, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published its 375th batch of "List of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," and the AITO M9 model was included in this announcement.

The M9 is a full-sized flagship SUV under AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly powered by SERES and Huawei.

Built on a brand-new D-segment luxury SUV platform, the M9 boasts a fresh, family-oriented design, spaciousness comparable to MPVs, and the integration of Huawei's full-stack intelligent automotive technology. Furthermore, it will feature Huawei's most robust intelligent safety system.

Previously, AITO announced that the M9's pre-sale price would range from 500,000 yuan to 600,000 yuan, with an official launch scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.

This full-sized flagship SUV measures 5,230mm in length, 1,999mm in width, 1,800mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,110mm. According to the published information, the M9 lineup will include both range-extended and pure electric variants, all equipped with high-energy-density batteries to eliminate range anxiety for users. Moreover, the pure electric version will feature a high-power, high-voltage super-fast charging platform, ensuring efficient and convenient recharging.

In terms of handling, the AITO M9 impresses with a full-aluminum alloy chassis, standard air suspension, CDC damping system, and unique technologies like HUAWEI DATS 2.0. These elements can deliver advanced driving control, offering a nimble and enjoyable driving experience for a large SUV.

As a flagship product with deep technological integration by Huawei, the AITO M9 will fully incorporate Huawei's complete intelligent automotive technology solution. This includes Huawei's latest HarmonyOS smart cockpit, intelligence driving capabilities, intelligent vehicle control, Huawei's million-pixel intelligent headlights, AR-HUD, light field screens, Huawei SOUND, AI large models, and more.
