According to information on Tesla's official website in China, the lead-time for the vehicle currently ranges from 6 to 9 weeks. This means that for new orders, the earliest delivery date will be by the end of this year.

The new Model 3, which started its pre-sale on September 1, recently transitioned from pre-sale to sales status. Coming with two variants, the refreshed Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive version starts at 259,900 yuan, while the Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive Long Range trim starts at 295,900 yuan. These prices are slightly higher than what was anticipated in the industry.

As Tesla's third mass-produced model, the Model 3 was introduced in 2017 and has accumulated over 1.5 million deliveries since its launch worldwide.

In September 2023, the US electric vehicle maker Tesla sold a total of 74,073 China-made vehicles via wholesale, down 11.98% month-on-month and 10.9% year-on-year. Specifically, the Model 3 was sold by 20,824 units in the month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

However, for the first nine months of this year, the cumulative wholesale volume of China-made Tesla vehicles reached 699,056 units, marking a substantial 44.71% leap compared to the previous year. Out of these, 265,327 units were shipped to overseas markets.
