AutoChips, ARKAMYS to co-develop in-car 3D audio system based on AC8025 chip

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automotive chip supplier AutoChips, in collaboration with global audio pioneer ARKAMYS, reached cooperation in the development of in-car audio system based on AutoChips smart cabin domain controller chip, the AC8025.

This partnership brings professional-level 3D audio experiences and a flexible, high-quality in-car sound field solution to automotive cabins, marking a significant breakthrough in the field of in-car audio systems.

Under the cooperation, ARKAMYS' powerful audio software algorithms will be seamlessly integrated into AutoChips' AC8025 chip, benefitting from its immense processing capabilities. By employing acoustic compensation algorithms, advanced audio rendering, spatial processing, and the expertise of ARKAMYS' acoustic engineers, the integration adapts to the auditory preferences of passengers, ensuring an immersive listening experience for all.

ARKAMYS' research has made it possible for passengers at any seat in the car to enjoy a surround sound experience centered around them. The AC8025 boasts versatile video output capabilities, supporting up to seven in-car displays, including panoramic screens and 2K or 4K displays. With its high-performance NPU, the AC8025 also provides efficient AI applications for audio systems, seamlessly working in tandem with ARKAMYS' all-encompassing, multi-position audio effects, delivering a professional 3D audiovisual experience for passengers.

The AC8025 is equipped with a dual-core high-performance HiFi DSP, capable of executing voice enhancement, media audio effects, and automotive sound algorithms efficiently, with low latency, and stable performance, saving CPU processing power. Its rich audio interfaces support multiple microphone inputs and multiple speaker outputs, making it easy for customers to expand and fulfill various transmission requirements.
