AVATR 12 hits market, starting at 300,800 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 10, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially inaugurate the global market launch of its intelligent luxury sedan, the AVATR 12.

Coming with three variants, the AVATR 12 features a price range from 300,800 yuan to 400,800 yuan.

By November 12, in just 36 hours after it hit the market, the AVATR 12 has secured over 6,700 fixed orders so far.

As the second intelligent electric vehicle that rides on the CHN platform, the AVATR 12 synergizes the strengths of Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL. The product is characterized by top-tier intelligence, cutting-edge design, and opulent space, reflecting the "Future Elegance" design philosophy for a seamlessly integrated body design.

The AVATR 12 lineup features Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4-based smart cockpit, providing a smoother interactive experience. Standard across all models is a 15.6-inch Huawei Smart Center Screen, accompanied by a 35.4-inch 4K integrated distant screen, creating a powerful smart travel super terminal by connecting users' smart devices.

In terms of intelligent driving, the AVATR 12 incorporates the advanced Huawei ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system. Standard in all models are three concealed LiDAR units capable of detecting distances exceeding a standard football field. Covering a four-layer perception system, the vehicle not only identifies tidal lanes, variable lanes, and traditional challenges like turning at intersections but also constructs scenarios from the vehicle itself. This innovation reduces dependence on high-precision maps. 

Moreover, all variants come with 19 standard active safety features, supporting functions like AEB emergency braking, GAEB emergency braking for irregular obstacles, RAEB rear automatic emergency braking, and LAEB low-speed automatic emergency braking.
