JAC Group ships vehicles to Latin America, Saudi Arabia

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 25, Chinese automaker JAC Group celebrated the launch of a thousand Sunray electric vehicles (EVs) to the Latin American region, solidifying its position in the Mexican auto market.

Since introducing its EV solutions in Mexico in 2019, JAC Group has built a comprehensive system covering products, usage, services, and training, contributing to a significant green transformation in the local market. In 2023, JAC Group's products commanded a market share exceeding 45% in the Mexican terminal market, said the automaker.

The Sunray EV entered the Mexican market in 2020, gaining widespread recognition in sectors such as supermarkets, delivery services, and tourism due to its outstanding performance and competitive advantages. Its market sales have shown a consistent upward trajectory.

Meanwhile, in a recent milestone event at the JAC Pickup factory, JAC Group conducted the export ceremony for its pickups to Saudi Arabia, marking a crucial breakthrough in the Saudi Arabian and Gulf region markets.

Since partnering with Saudi’s Alissa Group in 2020, JAC Group has achieved remarkable success in the export business, with industry client deliveries growing by over 40% year on year in 2023, a testament to the strong collaboration and trust between the two entities.
