BAIC, Huawei to launch first co-developed Huawei Smart Selection model in 2024
Beijing (Gasgoo)- BAIC BluePark, the parent company of BAIC BJEV, recently addressed investor queries on its interactive platform, confirming plans to launch the first Huawei Smart Selection model, "Xiangjie" (name in Chinese pinyin), this year.

The company reviewed its 2023 developments and outlined its 2024 plans. In 2023, BluePark's overseas operations, particularly with the premium new energy vehicle brand ARCFOX, achieved significant milestones, adopting a market development strategy leveraging core partners' resources for rapid market entry, particularly in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2024, BluePark aims to establish overseas distribution and service networks, focusing on multi-point deployments in Europe and Asia.
The collaboration with Huawei, under the Huawei Smart Selection cooperation model, will see its first vehicle model slated for market release in 2024, targeting the high-end smart sedan segment.
As previously reported, the collaboration between Huawei and BAIC Group for the “Xiangjie” model is gaining momentum. On January 26, the partners held a suppliers conference in Beijing for the Smart Selection project, which was attended by Huawei's Yu Chengdong.
