The SAIC Anji Splendor Ro-Ro ship measures 200 meters in length and 38 meters in width, and stands 13 stories tall. With a capacity of 7,600 vehicles and a displacement exceeding 40,000 tonnes, the vessel uses LNG dual-fuel clean energy, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 30%.

According to SAIC Motor, the newly delivered vessel and its sister ship, the "SAIC Anji Sincerity," which was put into service earlier this year, are the world's largest clean-energy Ro-Ro ships currently in operation worldwide in term of loading capacity. These "twin stars" will be stationed on SAIC Motor's self-operated European routes, aiming to overcome export capacity bottlenecks and expedite the global expansion of Chinese auto brands.
As of now, SAIC Motor's subsidiary, Anji Logistics, operates a fleet of 32 car carriers, including 11 river vessels, 9 domestic-trade sea vessels, and 12 foreign-trade sea vessels. The company runs seven international self-operated routes covering Southeast Asia, Mexico, South America, and Europe. By 2026, Anji Logistics' annual waterway transport capacity is projected to reach 1.8 million vehicles, with an overseas self-operated annual transport capacity of 1 million vehicles.
