Nissan Motor sees 20.85% YoY drop in July China sales
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 6, Japanese automaker Nissan Motor announced its July sales volume in China, which amounted to 47,102 passenger and light commercial vehicles, dropping 20.85% year over year.

In the past month, Dongfeng Nissan, which includes the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, sold 44,101 vehicles, indicating a 21.94% decline from the previous year. The light commercial vehicle segment, represented by Zhengzhou Nissan, posted monthly sales volume of 3,001 vehicles, which was 11 vehicles less than that of a year ago.
In the first seven months of 2024, Nissan Motor’s cumulative sales in China, encompassing both passenger and light commercial vehicles, came in at 386,399 vehicles, which fell 7.56% year on year.
As previously unveiled at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, Nissan Motor is further strengthening its electrification efforts in the world’s largest auto market. Over the next three years, Dongfeng Nissan plans to launch five new energy vehicle models under the Nissan brand, including sedans and SUVs, covering all-electric and hybrid powertrains. The all-electric sedan, Epoch, will be the first model to hit the market and is slated for mass production within one year.
