Chery Tiggo 8L hits market, starting at 129,900 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 8, Chery Auto officially launched its flagship SUV, the Tiggo 8L, which is priced between 129,900 yuan and 174,900 yuan.

The Tiggo 8L is designed with the "Art in Motion" philosophy, drawing inspiration from the shapes, colors, and sounds of nature. Tailored for family use, it boasts dimensions of 4,795x1,930x1,729mm and a 2,770mm wheelbase, featuring a 5+2 seating layout that accommodates various family travel needs.

Comfort is a key focus, with the driver's seat offering 10-way power adjustment, a one-touch recline for the front passenger seat, 10-point massage, and 3-level heating and ventilation. The rear seats include B-pillar air vents, independent climate control, and power-adjustable backrests, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.

The Tiggo 8L also emphasizes smart technology, equipped with a Qualcomm 8155 intelligent chip that enables natural voice interaction with an AI assistant, supporting hands-free operation and seamless dialect switching. The SUV features a 15.6-inch 2.5K high-definition screen, a 10-inch instrument panel, an HD W-HUD, and a second-row climate control screen, all contributing to an enhanced navigation and entertainment experience.

For safety, the Tiggo 8L comes with L2.5+ intelligent driving assistance, offering 19 advanced systems, including full-speed adaptive cruise control, speed assistance, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and automatic high-beam control.

Under the hood, the Tiggo 8L is powered by Chery's 2.0TGDI Kunpeng engine, delivering 187 kW of maximum power and 390 N·m of peak torque, paired with the Kunpeng 8AT transmission, known for its smooth shifting and high mechanical efficiency. The SUV also features Chery's fully developed intelligent all-wheel-drive system with seven selectable driving modes, suitable for 17 diverse terrains like snow, mud, and sand.
