Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 25, 2025, Chery's EXEED brand celebrated a significant milestone at its Qingdao Smart Manufacturing Plant, where the 100,000th unit of the Yaoguang SUV model officially rolled off the production line.

Since its market launch, the Yaoguang series has become a popular choice in the market, offering both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and traditional gasoline versions to meet the diverse needs of consumers. The Yaoguang C-DM Chaoyue Edition, with its advanced technology and luxurious features, has been especially well-received.

As a PHEV, the Yaoguang C-DM is a standout in the Yaoguang lineup. Powered by a 1.5TGDI hybrid engine and paired with dual electric motors and a 3-speed DHT transmission, the Yaoguang C-DM delivers a total output of 280 kW and peak torque of 610 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds, offering both power and efficiency.
In terms of range, the Yaoguang C-DM offers a 100-km battery-powered range, meeting daily urban commuting needs. With a full charge and tank, it offers a combined range of 1,400 km, ensuring reliability for both long trips and daily travel. Its fuel consumption stands at just 5.4L/100 km, further reducing operational costs.
The success of the Yaoguang family can be attributed to the strength of EXEED's Qingdao Super Smart Factory, a "lighthouse" plant that integrates digitalization, green manufacturing, and lean processes. The plant boasts rigorous quality control, including 1.37 million kilometers of simulated user testing and 260,000 kilometers of durability verification.
