In September, BYD's exports showed a clear three-pillar structure. Southeast Asia ranked first with 17,357 units, driven by strong electrification policies and BYD's local presence. The Middle East (13,948 units) and Europe (13,898 units) followed closely, supported by strong PHEV demand in the Middle East and BYD’s balanced BEV/PHEV strategy in Europe. Together, the three regions contributed about 62.8% of BYD's total exports.

Additionally, BYD exported 5,434 units to CIS countries (mainly Uzbekistan), 4,380 units to other Asian markets, 4,284 units to Oceania, 2,074 units to Africa, and 604 units to North America (Mexico). While performance varied across regions, each market generally aligned with BYD's global expansion strategy. The dip in North America was likely due to shipping delays and limited capacity to Mexico, while Africa remains in an early market-cultivation phase with growth potential yet to be unlocked.

Overall, BYD's September export mix reflects both the breadth of its global footprint and its precise response to diverse market needs. From capturing policy-driven demand in Southeast Asia, to making steady inroads into Europe's higher-end markets, and deepening its presence in Latin America, BYD is building a more diversified and resilient export ecosystem.
