China’s intelligent driving startup Voyager Technology completes A round

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s intelligent driving startup, Voyager Technology, recently completed its Series A financing round, raising tens of millions of yuan.

The funds will be put towards intelligent driving technology development, product delivery, market expansion, and intelligent digital manufacturing base construction.

Founded in 2013, Voyager Technology is an intelligent driving developer dedicated to environment perception, intelligent decision, control and execution. The Voyager team consists of roughly 200 members and will be expanded to 400 within the year. The startup currently holds three business directions, namely automated parking, assistant driving, and regional autonomous driving.  

Specifically, the company offers comprehensive autonomous parking solutions with remote parking, remote control parking, and memory parking functions. As to assistant driving, the company has developed DVR, ADAS functions based on its 540° panorama view feature. Moreover, Voyager Technology offers regional self-driving service in designated scenarios, including airports, ports, parks, and docks.

Up to now, the company has supplied over 400,000 sets of mass-produced products to dozens of named automakers as a Tier1 supplier. The company disclosed that it has another 4 million sets deal coming.

Major carmakers like Lexus, SAIC Volkswagen, FAW/GAC Toyota, SAIC Motor, and Chery Auto are clients to the company. Additionally, at the end of December 2021, Voyager Technology partnered with Chery Holding’s technology subsidiary to co-develop mobile/parking integrated ADAS technologies. The partners will perform profound development and application based on Qualcomm and Ambarella’s platform.
