Desay SV, NETA initiate comprehensive partnership for intelligent vehicle development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 4th, China’s new energy vehicle brand NETA reached comprehensive strategic cooperation with major supplier Desay SV for automotive intelligence advancement.

Leveraging each’s technology and resources, the two parties will conduct profound cooperation in all aspects including smart cockpit, intelligent driving, vehicle body, software, and services. Their first cooperative model, the NETA S, can be expected for delivery within the year. Meanwhile, the NETA S Yaoshi edition has already kicked off presale on June 6th.

Per their agreement, building on NETA’s automotive intelligence development strategy, the two companies will work on cockpit domain controllers, displays, and wireless charging for phones. Desay SV will give full play to its technologies and take charge of design and R&D of hardware, architecture, and basic software.

Notably, Desay SV and NETA have created an ultra-thin 2.5K center control screen that measures 17.6” and 12.6mm thick. The partners are optimistic that this vertical screen will be the largest of its kind in the industry. 

Moreover, NETA and Desay SV have successfully developed and mass produced an Android R system for the onboard PC on the NETA S. The system is created on top of Qualcomm’s 8155 cockpit domain controller and compatible with STR mode, realizing instant boot up under 5 seconds.
