Geely Xingrui Computing Center inaugurated

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 27, the Geely Xingrui Computing Center was officially inaugurated in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, marking the launch of the largest and most complex information technology strategy project ever undertaken by Geely.

Based on the integrated advantages of cloud computing, big data, and AI of Alibaba Cloud's Feitian Smart Computing Platform, combined with the leading computing scheduling management algorithm and R&D system, Geely's overall R&D effectiveness was improved by 20%. This is also the first project that Geely Holding landed after reaching a strategic cooperation with Alibaba Group.

After six months of trial and test run, Geely Xingrui Computing Center has significantly improved the effectiveness of intelligent driving R&D. The training time of 1,000 smart driving models has been shortened from 3 months to 8 hours on the cloud, and the training speed has been increased by 200 times.

In terms of new energy power management, based on the big data system and safety base of the Xingrui Smart Computing Center, Geely has established a battery cloud BMS and new energy vehicle safety service, which intelligently adjusts energy management strategies according to users' driving habits and actual road conditions.

In addition to the underlying cloud platform, Geely Xingrui Computing Center also introduces Alibaba Cloud’s big data and AI middle platform to better support the whole process of development and operation and maintenance.

Aside from the Xingrui Computing Center, Alibaba Cloud is also working with Geely to build an "Automotive Digital Factory".
