RoboSense, SAIC Motor's cooperation enters mass production phase
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Mar. 30, Chinese LiDAR supplier RoboSense officially announced its nominated supply project with SAIC Motor’s Rising Auto brand. The duo’s collaborative F7 model already started delivery.

This indicates the cooperation between RoboSense and SAIC Motor has gone into the volume production stage.
According to the official announcement of Rising Auto, the LiDAR add-on for the F7 will be available in the second half of 2023. With the support of top intelligent driving hardware such as RoboSense’s RS-LiDAR-M series LiDAR and NVIDIA’s Orin chip, the RISING PILOT fully integrated high-level intelligent driving system on the F7 has stable, reliable, and highly intelligent sensing capability, bringing users an intelligent, safe, and all-round driving experience.

In the past few years, RoboSense and SAIC Motor have achieved multi-level and in-depth synergy in multiple dimensions such as industrial capital support and industrial intelligence upgrading, further consolidating the strategic depth of their cooperation.
In the intelligent driving field, several SAIC Motor’s models such as the Rising Auto F7 and the IM LS7 are also equipped with RoboSense’s M series LiDAR, comprehensively accelerating the scale application of intelligent driving and auto-grade solid-state LiDAR. At the capital level, Shangqi Capital, an investment subsidiary of SAIC Motor, reached a strategic investment agreement with RoboSense. In the field of driverless mobility services, RoboSense has helped with the mass production and implementation of SAIC Motor’s Xiangdao Robotaxi 2.0 project.
