According to XPeng, this update focuses on three major fields, intelligent interaction, intelligent parking, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), bringing a total of over 30 updated functions to the P7.
In terms of intelligent interaction, the update allows users to remotely monitor their vehicle through the mobile app. When the vehicle sends out unusual situation alerts through the phone, users can access the app to view the vehicle's surroundings in real time, enabling remote monitoring. Even in areas with poor network coverage, such as underground parking lots, highways, or remote locations, users can interact with the vehicle using more than 400 high-frequency commands related to navigation, air conditioning, and vehicle controls.
The update also enhances intelligent parking features, introducing an automatic forward-facing image switch from Reverse (R) to Drive (D), as well as a "Narrow Road Assist" function within the 360-degree view that displays obstacle distances and calculates collision avoidance distances.
Moreover, regarding ADAS functions, the P7 can now recognize traffic lights during straight driving, provide red light prompts when using LCC (Lane Centering Control) function. In addition, the cruising speed under NGP (Navigation Guided Pilot) function is now customizable, with a maximum cruising speed of 120 km/h.
