FAW Group, Mobileye sign MoU for cooperation in intelligent driving field

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 13th, a momentous event unfolded in Changchun city, Jilin province, as FAW Group and Mobileye signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This ceremony marked the commencement of a fresh, collaborative chapter, where both entities will unite their strengths in software, hardware, and technological prowess to seamlessly merge technology and products, delivering a seamless and delightful travel experience to users.

The collaborative effort between these industry giants will give rise to novel products based on the Mobileye SuperVision™ and Mobileye Chauffeur™ platforms, promising users a safe and delightful travel experience.

Initiating the collaboration with the iconic Hongqi brand, both companies will integrate Mobileye SuperVision™ advanced driver-assistance features into key Hongqi models. Subsequently, they will introduce the "hands-off and eyes-off" intelligent driving capabilities of the Mobileye Chauffeur™ platform to the highly anticipated E701 model.

Production of vehicles equipped with the Mobileye SuperVision™ solution is scheduled to commence by late 2024, while those featuring Mobileye Chauffeur™ technology are set for production by the end of 2025.

Furthermore, China FAW's other brands are poised to follow suit by gradually adopting Mobileye platform solutions. Additionally, both parties will engage in comprehensive discussions to explore further avenues for deepening their collaboration.
