Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 21, SAIC Z-One, the automotive intelligence arm of SAIC Motor, and SAIC Volkswagen officially inaugurated their joint innovation center.

The establishment of the joint innovation research center will accelerate the R&D of intelligent car technology and products for SAIC Volkswagen. In the realm of smart vehicles, SAIC Z-One remains dedicated to user and customer value, focusing on delivering cost-effective, market-competitive full-stack solutions and products. The company’s Z -One Galaxy Full-stack Solution 3.0 will feature the ZOS intelligent operating system and the integrated central brain ZXD, achieving a unified approach across four domains, cabin, driving, computation, and connectivity. This results in half the domain controllers, a fivefold increase in data bandwidth, a 30% reduction in wiring, a 70% boost in OTA speed, and deep integration with the IoT ecosystem. The Z -One Galaxy Full-stack Solution 3.0 and products are set to be deployed onto IM Motors’ vehicles in 2025.
