This innovative technology is a collaborative effort between the leading stream processing technology team from Volcano Engine and the pioneers in software-defined cars and the broader intelligent car operating system from Neusoft Reach.

The core strength of this technology lies in its ability to achieve collaborative computing between in-car and cloud resources. Leveraging cloud computing and 4G/5G communication technologies, it enables real-time streaming, bypassing the computational limitations of the in-car system. This breakthrough powers vehicles to run AAA-level video games and high-demand content such as streaming media videos seamlessly, significantly enhancing the user experience within the intelligent cabin.

Cloud-native technology is a specialized cloud application architecture designed for the in-car experience, often compared to a digital twin in a virtual cloud space, which serves as the vehicle's second computational environment. This technology breaks free from hardware limitations and shifts computational power to the cloud, thereby releasing local chip-based computing capacity. The cloud space is supported by Geely's XingRui Intelligent Computing Center, boasting a staggering total computational power of 8.1 exaflops per second. It can handle concurrent calculations for millions of online vehicles. This setup, combined with the cutting-edge Volcano Engine stream processing technology, connects cloud, edge, and in-car systems, allowing in-car computation to operate independently from the onboard chipset.

Geely's proprietary cloud-enabled digital twin intelligent cabin system has accumulated more than 30 registered patents. The technology has undergone rigorous testing and validation in actual vehicles and is now ready for mass production.
