ZEEKR rolls out first major OTA upgrade for ZEEKR X

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 7, ZEEKR, the premium new energy vehicle brand under Geely, rolled out the first significant over-the-air (OTA) software update for the ZEEKR X SUV model.

This update, referred to as OS 5.0, introduces a comprehensive range of improvements, including 34 new features, 72 experience enhancements, and 43 ECU upgrades, delivering upgrades across all aspects of the vehicle, from intelligent driving to the cabin experience.

With the OS 5.0, the ZEEKR X now provides an even more advanced intelligent driving experience, covering a wide range of urban driving scenarios.

Among the highlights of the OS 5.0 is the provision of a complete parking solution, alleviating parking challenges and awkward maneuvering within parking spaces. The update enables the ZEEKR X to offer APA automatic parking assistance and DOW door opening warning, complemented by enhanced intelligent voice control, significantly enhancing safety and convenience during driving and parking.

Beyond the comprehensive urban parking solution, the ZEEKR X also supports multiple intelligent driving functions, including ALC lever lane change assistance, BSD blind spot warning, LCA automatic lane change warning assistance, CMSR rear-end collision mitigation, PEB low-speed reverse emergency braking, FCTA forward side traffic assistance, and RCTA rear side traffic assistance, catering to a wide range of driving scenarios.

To address urban driving challenges comprehensively, the ZEEKR X OS 5.0 features a significant upgrade in intelligent interaction and the intelligent cabin.

In terms of intelligent interaction, the ZEEKR X introduces the industry-first intelligent B-pillar interaction system, featuring facial recognition unlocking and rich smart scene interaction, offering users added technological convenience. Furthermore, the ZEEKR X incorporates the new OMS intelligent cabin perception system, enhancing cabin safety and intelligence.

Regarding the intelligent cabin, the ZEEKR X features a rest mode, sentinel mode, in-car camera, game projection, instrument panel map display, and a triple-control temperature center console refrigerator with delayed power-off and remote control, enhancing in-car entertainment and overall lifestyle experience for users.
