SAIC Motor, DIAS, TTTech-Auto AG deepen partnership for ADAS technology development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 8, in a strategic move to shape the future of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and domain controller technology, SAIC Motor, DIAS, and TTTech-Auto AG proudly announced an enhanced partnership.

Initiated in 2018, the alliance established "SAIC TTTECH Auto Technology Co., Ltd. (Technomous)," a joint venture dedicated to developing, producing, and selling advanced electronic control units for driving assistance systems in the Chinese automotive market.

Renowned for their leadership in the Chinese automotive industry, SAIC Motor and TTTech Auto not only supported Technomous as shareholders but also contributed their cutting-edge technology and services. Since its inception, Technomous has successfully achieved mass production of its Zhiji (integrated microcontroller) products, seamlessly integrating them into SAIC Motor’s IM Motors series models. This accomplishment strongly highlights Technomous's technological prowess and its immense market potential.

Amidst the evolving landscape of the automotive industry and the growing demand in China for software-driven vehicles and L2/L3/L4 mass-produced autonomous driving solutions, SAIC’s automotive intelligence arm Z-ONE, DIAS, and TTTech Auto strengthened their collaboration. This inter-entity collaboration will cover various critical areas such as deterministic communication and scheduling, automotive data distribution (e.g., DDS), safety consulting, engineering, and safety middleware. The ultimate goal of this collaboration is to create a comprehensive solution encompassing safety, computing platforms, electronic architecture, software platforms, and other innovative products and services tailored specifically for the Chinese market.

This partnership establishes an innovation hub covering all aspects of modern automotive computing systems and networks, from application software to middleware and hardware. This integrated approach aims to provide the best solutions for end customers.
