Chinese autonomous mining solution developer EACON bags 400 million yuan in recent equity financing rounds

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese autonomous haulage solution provider EACON recently announced the completion of successive funding rounds, amassing close to 400 million yuan.

The lead investor was Richen Capital, with contributions from Shenwan Innovation Investment, and continued support from existing shareholders, including Cherish Capital, etc. With this latest funding, EACON has bagged nearly 450 million yuan in financing this year, marking consecutive rounds of over 100 million yuan in a short span.

Established in May 2018, EACON holds cutting-edge unmanned driving technology with robust on-site operational capabilities. The company delivers unmanned driving technology and transport operation services to mining areas. It possesses wire-controlled complete vehicle control R&D capabilities and the ability to deploy a hundred unmanned mining trucks commercially.

This investment infusion will further enhance EACON's unmanned transport solutions and product R&D for open-pit mines. It aims to drive the large-scale commercial deployment of unmanned mining products in the international market. In July this year, EACON achieved the pioneering deployment of over a hundred units, establishing the world's largest unmanned mining fleet within a single mine site.

EACON’s "Yushi" new energy unmanned driving wire-controlled platform meets mining industry demands for safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. Its core system employs adaptable intelligent chassis-by-wire system and hybrid technologies compatible with various operational conditions. Presently, the platform has been applied practically in 4 models, totaling nearly 300 mining trucks, accumulating an impressive 4.2 million kilometers in unmanned driving distance.
