Black Sesame Technologies, ECARX collaborate to develop intelligent driving solutions

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 22, Black Sesame Technologies, Chinese intelligent automotive computing chip supplier, and ECARX, a mobility technology enterprise, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to integrate their respective R&D, products, and technological resources to jointly develop cutting-edge intelligent driving system solutions.

This partnership signifies a deeper strategic collaboration based on their accumulated past cooperative experiences. Both entities will share visual perception algorithms, chip supplies, and toolchains. They'll engage in joint platform development, using ECARX as the integrated application platform to lead software-hardware integration, development, and manufacturing. Together, the duo aims to craft leading intelligent driving solutions for both passenger and commercial vehicles.

ECARX, the Geely-backed company known for offering comprehensive automotive intelligence solutions globally, has been continuously enhancing its technical capabilities in the intelligent driving domain. Collaborations with industry leaders like Luminar and Mobileye have strengthened its position in core algorithms, chips, and solutions.

By merging Black Sesame's intelligent technology products, ECARX introduced the inclusive ECARX Skyland series smart driving computing platform, which have achieved mass production installation in the Lynk & Co 08, showcasing accessible technological advancements.
