iMotion to provide smart mobility solutions for Chery EXEED’s STERRA lineup

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese smart mobility solution provider iMotion recently secured a production partnership for Chery EXEED’s STERRA series vehicles, marking another significant collaboration after the integration of iDC Mid products into the EXEED lineup.

The iDC Mid, a cost-effective solution tailored for the mid-to-high-end automotive market, is equipped with Texas Instruments' TDA4 SoC. It features advanced functionalities such as high-speed NOA (Navigation on Autopilot), memory parking assistance (HPA), Surround View 3D Display (SV3D), HMI rendering, and Over-The-Air (OTA) capabilities. 

Compatible with China-made chips, it supports cross-platform operating systems and environments, providing an open development environment and facilitating cloud and big data integration. To date, the iDC Mid has been successfully integrated into Chery's EXEED VX and TXL models.

iMotion has designed and developed all key software and hardware components of the iDC Mid. The proprietary middleware, independent of any open-source frameworks, allows flexible software deployment across various computing platforms and operating systems. 

In the iDC domain controller, the middleware enables zero-copy data sharing across RTOS and HLOS, supporting large data transfers like images. iMotion's algorithm expertise spans perception fusion, planning, control, and localization, covering diverse areas such as multi-mode data fusion, transformer-based top-view perception, and USS (ultrasonic) perception algorithms.
