Baidu-backed DeepWay delivers 100 intelligent new energy heavy-duty trucks to client

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 27, DeepWay, the smart new energy truck developer supported by Baidu, handed over 100 vehicles to Guoke Zhiyun (Shandong) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., primarily for use in logistics arteries such as the Linyi Modern Logistics Park and the route from Linyi Port to Qingdao Port.

DeepWay’s intelligent new energy heavy-duty truck, the Shenxiang Xingchen, upon its debut, swiftly captured the market with its low operating costs, minimal energy consumption, excellent power compatibility, and intelligent features, becoming a suitable intelligent new energy heavy-duty truck for trunkline logistics.

Compared to traditional heavy-duty trucks with a drag coefficient of up to 0.65, the DeepWay Shenxiang Xingchen boasts a coefficient of just 0.35. This significantly reduces energy consumption for customers in actual operation. Additionally, the vehicle's unique distributed drive system can achieve a maximum electric drive efficiency of 94%, leading to at least a 14% improvement in energy conversion efficiency compared to central centralized drive systems, said DeepWay.

Moreover, the integration of the battery and chassis, as well as the vehicle's front design increases the effective cargo volume rate by 9.6%, enabling customers to secure larger cargo space and transportation profits. Based on road test data of over 1,100 kilometers from Beijing to Shanghai, the vehicle saves 10% in electricity consumption compared to traditional oil-to-electric models, with a 22% increase in charging efficiency.

Furthermore, DeepWay, through its cockpit SOA, open V2X platform, and cloud algorithm capabilities, transforms vehicles into intelligent operational terminals, achieving decoupling between humans and vehicles. DeepWay provides vehicle and driver management services for logistics enterprises, enabling them to manage fleets through intensive and engineered systems rather than relying on self-management by drivers, ultimately enhancing management efficiency and reducing logistics transportation costs.
