Baidu's Apollo Go fulfills over 5 million Robotaxi orders so far
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 28, Baidu announced its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results for 2023. The report revealed that as of January 2, 2024, Baidu's Apollo Go, the Robotaxi service platform, had completed over 5 million rides on open roads.

In the fourth quarter alone, Apollo Go witnessed a 49% year-on-year increase in service order volume, reaching 839,000. Notably, in Wuhan city, 45% of the Robotaxi orders were entirely driverless, showcasing the growing acceptance of autonomous driving technology in China.
Financially, Baidu had a remarkable year, with total revenue for 2023 reaching 134.598 billion yuan and a non-GAAP net profit attributable to Baidu of 28.7 billion yuan. In the fourth quarter of last year, Baidu’s revenue amounted to 34.951 billion yuan, with a non-GAAP net profit of 7.755 billion yuan. These results exceeded market expectations, underscoring Baidu's strong performance and strategic positioning in the market.
Moreover, on February 27, Baidu's Apollo Go autonomous vehicle achieved a significant milestone by crossing the Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge and the Baishazhou Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan.
