This authorization allows KargoBot to conduct road tests on open roads in Tianjin, making it the first company in the region to achieve this milestone with independently developed L4 production vehicles. This permit marks a significant expansion for KargoBot in the intelligent driving sector, following its successful L4 autonomous truck platoon road tests in Beijing.

Established in 2021 in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, KargoBot has benefited from strong support from the Tianjin Municipal Government and the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee. After rigorous testing in closed environments, KargoBot has now achieved the milestone of obtaining the first autonomous truck road test permit in the Free Trade Zone.

To date, KargoBot's L4 autonomous trucks have transported over 32 million tonne-kilometers of goods, with total demonstration operation distance exceeding 6 million kilometers. The company's autonomous trucks have demonstrated excellent performance and reliability in real-world operations, reducing freight labor costs by 50%-80% and enhancing transportation efficiency. KargoBot continues to develop various models of autonomous trucks to meet diverse customer needs across different transportation scenarios.
