Since the initiation of the intelligent connected vehicle access and road traffic pilot project, VOYAH has swiftly captured new trends in smart driving technology, launching the R&D of advanced intelligent driving assistance systems. In March 2024, VOYAH began developing these systems based on its VOYAH FREE SUV model. Two VOYAH FREE vehicles, equipped with upgraded hardware and software for intelligent driving, including four LiDAR sensors, seven high-definition cameras, and five millimeter-wave radars, successfully completed the development process. These vehicles are capable to perform advanced intelligent driving functions in preset map areas and under various road conditions.
In mid-May, the VOYAH advanced intelligent driving vehicles passed China’s national intelligent connected vehicle testing ground exams, adhering to the GB/T 41798-2022 standards. The exams covered the recognition and response to traffic signals, road infrastructure and obstacles, automatic emergency avoidance, dynamic driving task intervention, and takeover across 32 test items in eight categories, showcasing the stability and reliability of VOYAH's advanced intelligent driving system.
With the newly received intelligent connected vehicle testing license, VOYAH will conduct autonomous driving road tests in designated areas in Wuhan.
