Nanjing has ambitious plans to fully open its roads to intelligent connected vehicle testing and demonstration by 2026. The city aims to become a national leader in "vehicle-road-cloud integration" technology innovation, terminal promotion, and demonstration operations. It plans to gradually open urban roads, tourist attractions, stations, airports, ports, parks, and tunnels as demonstration application scenarios. The deployment of unmanned delivery vehicles in locations such as campuses and industrial parks is expected to enhance operational efficiency and safety in the logistics industry.
In 2023, Nanjing handled 1.387 billion parcel deliveries for its 9.547 million residents, with an average of 145.2 parcels per person. The high density of orders has placed considerable pressure on last-mile delivery efficiency and labor costs. NEOLIX's autonomous delivery vehicle X3, which has now received the road test permit, offers a new solution to these challenges.

The NEOLIX X3 features a cargo space of 3 cubic meters, a maximum load of 500 kilograms, and a range of 100 kilometers on a full charge. It is capable of autonomous driving at 50 km/h on motorways and can navigate narrow 1.5-meter-wide paths with ease. The vehicle can carry 200 to 300 parcels per trip and make over 10 round trips per day during peak periods, effectively preventing parcel backlogs and meeting stringent delivery timelines.
By handling transportation tasks between distribution centers, community hubs, and office buildings, the NEOLIX X3 allows couriers to focus more on value-added services, significantly enhancing the competitiveness of the entire logistics system. This innovative approach has earned NEOLIX recognition from leading logistics companies, and the company has already deployed over 200 self-driving delivery vehicles in several cities across China.
