Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Automobile recently revealed during an investor relations event that the company is already doing research on cutting-edge technologies, including flying cars and humanoid robots. These developments align with Changan's broader innovation strategy, with potential benefits for its commercial vehicle brand, Kaicheng.
According to Changan Automobile, research outcomes in these areas will directly support Kaicheng's transformation into a smart, digitalized new energy commercial vehicle brand.

In 2026, Kaicheng plans to deliver autonomous delivery vehicles and collaborate with leading logistics companies and freight networks to establish a cost-effective, safe, and multi-scenario autonomous delivery logistics system. By 2027, the Kaicheng will expand to long-haul driverless logistics solutions, including warehouse-to-warehouse operations, and launch a shared fully unmanned logistics platform.
At the recent Auto Guangzhou 2024, Changan Automobile unveiled its ambitious plans, highlighting advancements in intelligent driving, the Tianshu AI large model, flying cars, and humanoid robots. Over the next five years, the company will invest more than 50 billion yuan to develop integrated land, air, and sea mobility solutions, as well as humanoid robotics. Flying car-related products are slated for release before 2026.
